Not a typo. Somebody moved in and stayed over four years. That says more about how comfortable people get here than any description we could write.
We are a preferred partner for Department of Corrections physicians, and for Evergreen Kirkland, Evergreen Home Health and Providence Hospital and Overlake Hospital and Children's Hospital. We have hosted traveling teachers, home health nurses, people from the Kidney Center, utility crews working civil engineering projects, and regional traveling sales people.
Stays of 30 days or more are tax free — which on a long stay is not a rounding error, it is real money back in your pocket.

Can a work crew book several suites for a 30 to 90 day project serving Everett and Arlington?
Yes. When the work is out here, this is where the crew sleeps — pipefitters, union crews, Local 302 operators and the consultants brought in with them, some for weeks, some for months. You get full kitchen access to get coffee and breakfast going before an early shift, plus a hot second meal waiting on return when the crew upgrades to Premium, and room to park trucks and equipment overnight, out here instead of on a city street. What does a 30-day stay serving Redmond and Kirkland include, and is it tax free?
Yes, it is tax free. Every extended stay at The Grayson is, with the full term collected upfront under our license user agreement. A 30-day stay includes blackout drapery and the Created Comfort Sleep, a personal greeting at the door on arrival, a local area guide, a dedicated work desk with copier and printer access, package delivery and receiving, full kitchen access, and an upper-floor kitchenette for quick warm-ups. You work anywhere on the property — the garden, wide open spaces and cozy places, pet-friendly and casual — and you leave with one itemized invoice instead of a stack of receipts. Upgrade to Premium and add wash, dry and fold laundry, housekeeping on your schedule, and a second daily meal — healthier and less expensive than eating out.

Can a company book and bill directly for a relocating employee?
Yes. We've invoiced employers directly and taken payment on the company card, or a guest can self-pay and expense it. The suite is fully furnished from the first night, with no first, last or security deposit, so there is nothing to buy on arrival and nothing to unwind when the assignment closes. It's an extended stay, fully renewable month to month, and project teams are placed together under one roof rather than scattered across town.

Do you take interns for a summer term, and can the employer book the block?
Yes. We've hosted both medical interns and IT interns on The Grayson Premium for the length of their placement, with billing to suit — direct to the employer, or self-pay and expense. Summer placements book up months ahead, so start on live chat or the inquiry form early.

We sold and our new place is not ready — can we stay 60 days with the dog?
Yes, and the dog comes with you. Sixty days is an ordinary term here. Stays run 30, 60 or 90 days or more, weekly by inquiry, and billing is fully renewable month to month, so there is no end-date pressure when a closing date moves. Pet Rent is $150 per month per pet, and Pet Concierge is entirely optional at $21 per day if you want it. The Olympic suite opens onto a fenced, off-leash yard for the dog to romp. Pack the rest into a pod and forget it.

Multiple rooms are available so nobody is split up, and we cover the full range — from a mini crib for the youngest to a fully accessible ADA ground-floor suite for anyone in the family who needs one. Dogs, cats and caged animals are all welcome; nobody has to arrange boarding. The family stays together.

Our property operates on a mindful, zero-waste philosophy. Kitchen scraps feed our chickens and rabbits, compostable coffee pods enrich our soil, and single-use plastics have been eliminated in favor of elegant, refillable amenities. We exclusively use fragrance-free laundry products, organic cleaners, and adhere to strict recycling practices.
Outside, we work directly with nature. We utilize compost, maintain dedicated mason bee houses, plant native flower mixes for hummingbirds, and intentionally allow dandelions to bloom freely to nourish bees early in the season. The gardens are maintained using efficient root-drip irrigation. Fresh produce and free-range eggs go to local food banks, to support the people who have supported us.
