Beautiful home, great getaway. Peaceful and private and very comfortable.

We had a lovely stay at the Grayson. We booked to stay in Pike room for one night and upon arrival, Miriam offered to upgrade us to Baker room which was very kind of her. The room was clean, comfortable and the whole stay was very restful. We enjoyed seeing the various animals: the dog, the cats, the rabbits and the chickens. The breakfast was delicious and Miriam went out of her way to accommodate our specific dietary needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Grayson!

This lovely home provides plenty of space both inside and outside to meet the needs of travelers and families. Miriam is a generous and gracious host. The home is pet friendly for those travelling with furry family members and comes with fur-friends of its own as well as a flock of chickens! The food is wonderful, lots' of towels and blankets are on hand as well as a coffee supplies and refrigerator space for each room. This is your home away from home.

The Grayson was outstanding in service and especially the unique, fresh breakfasts, each with ingredients from the Grayson. I’m not fond of sharing bathrooms anymore but it seemed to work out. There was a skylight in our room (Baker) so bring eyeshades. A great place to relax and get away from it all.

Our stay at the Grayson was wonderful. Miriam and Mark are gracious hosts and the house is beautiful with lots of space inside and out. My one warning is that if you're allergic to dogs or cats, this may not be the place for you. However... if, like us, you love animals, then the extra attention of the cats, dogs, chickens and rabbits makes this a fabulous experience. (No, they're not all in the house!) The room (Cascade) was nicely appointed and having the deck to relax on was nice. Especially after the stair-master hike up to Wallace Falls (strenuous, but highly recommended). The front garden provides exquisite vegetables for Miriam's amazing breakfasts. That was definitely a highlight of our stay and all I can say is "save room for breakfast" (yum!). Once the house settles in for the night, it can be amazingly quiet there. Being used to the background noises of suburban living, the peacefulness of the property really was refreshing. Even the roosters wake up late. The place is conveniently close to town, but far enough away that you forget the rat-race. This was our first visit to the area, as we have family here, and would certainly return when we visit again. Thanks Mark, Thanks Miriam

Such a calm, cozy, comfortable B&B. 💕💕💕 We felt like we were the guests of a favorite relative.Being mobility challenged, we appreciated ADA compliant ramp, bathroom, and access to home’s amenities. The outside deck, living room, kitchen and dining areas we very comfortable and barrier free. We travel with 2 golden retriever service dogs and they were very well accommodated, as this is a pet friendly property. The bed was amazing with gel mattress, soft sheets,and cozy quilt. The room was small but had a large walk in closet and private deck.Mariam was a perfect host. We enjoyed visiting with her and she was very helpful with my 81 year old husband. Mariam is an amazing cook using locally sourced organic ingredients and serving very generous portions. We loved every bite of our veggie loaded omelette, fruit & granola yogurt, and fresh baked biscuits. The leftovers were packaged up for us. We enjoyed Mariam’s breakfast yesterday, and today, and will again tomorrow. Did I mention it was a very big and delicious breakfast!😂 We had a delightful stay & would highly recommend Grayson’ B&B. 5+++++
