We are here to meet your needs — specifically yours. What a work crew wants at the end of a shift is not what a travel nurse wants, or a family waiting out an insurance claim. Find yours below.

Underneath all of it, we offer two things

Everything we have, in two tiers — and both of them within reach of a stipend or a per diem.

Four years is our longest stay so far

Not a typo. Somebody moved in and stayed over four years. That says more about how comfortable people get here than any description we could write.

We are a preferred partner for Department of Corrections physicians, and for Evergreen Kirkland, Evergreen Home Health and Providence Hospital and Overlake Hospital and Children's Hospital. We have hosted traveling teachers, home health nurses, people from the Kidney Center, utility crews working civil engineering projects, and regional traveling sales people.

Stays of 30 days or more are tax free — which on a long stay is not a rounding error, it is real money back in your pocket.

Repeat business says the same thing. Microsoft, five times. Google, three. Three Meta interns. Five ALE placements. A lot of IT workers.

We are flexible. That is the whole point.

Thirty days is long enough that the kitchen matters

A hotel room asks you to eat out for a month. This does not. Cook a real dinner, prep a week of lunches, do a full load of laundry at midnight — the rooms that make a long stay livable are the ones you actually get to use.

Everything here has your name on it

This is not storage. It is a system, and it runs through the whole house. Your shelf in the refrigerator. Your cabinet in the kitchen. Your drawer in the bathroom. Dry goods, cold goods, toiletries — each one carrying your suite name, in every room you use.

Kitchen cabinets labeled Pike, Cascade and Olympic

Everybody has space. That is why a month in, you feel like you are living somewhere, not staying with strangers.

Work Crews

Reliability, and recovery after long shifts.

Big civil engineering jobs are our bread and butter. Pipefitters, union crews, Local 302 operators, and the consultants brought in for the jobs that make the news — Bertha, the floating bridge. When the work is out here, this is where the crew sleeps.

It is not only the big jobs. When a crew came into town to retrofit the movie theater, and again for the bank, we took the whole crew — some for weeks, some for months. We meet their needs and their schedule.

  • Boot dryer
  • Morning coffee and breakfast ready before shift
  • Hot meal waiting on return after long shifts
  • Billed per diem
  • Truck and equipment parking secure overnight — a rural setting, not downtown parking risk

Travel Nurses

Self-sufficiency, on your own schedule.

A travel contract is thirteen weeks, and we are built for exactly that. Stipend friendly. Direct billing. And an itemized folio every month, so your expense report writes itself instead of living in a shoebox of receipts. Our clinicians come from Evergreen Kirkland, Evergreen Home Health, Providence, Overlake and Children’s Hospital.

  • Full kitchen access for meal prep
  • Dedicated washer for daily scrubs
  • Lysol disinfectant provided
  • A largely self-sufficient stay — come and go as your rotation demands

IT Professionals

A friction-free environment, and real work-life balance.

One invoice, itemized for your expense report — not a stack of receipts to reconcile when you get home. Microsoft five times, Google three, and a lot of consultants in between.

Enjoy the entire estate without any of the property's upkeep.

  • Blackout drapery and the Curated Comfort Sleep System — a friction-free environment
  • A personal greeting at the door on arrival
  • Local area guide provided
  • Kitchen and kitchenette built for warm-ups rather than full meal prep — many tech guests eat at a full cafeteria at work and simply need to reheat at home
  • Freedom to work anywhere on the property — the garden, wide open spaces and cozy places, in a casual pet-friendly atmosphere
  • Dedicated work desk with copier and printer access
  • Package delivery and receiving handled
  • Premium package add-on available, built around supporting work-life balance
  • Two miles from local shops and pubs

Relocating Professionals

Land first. Decide where you live later.

For the professional whose employer moved them, and the project team that arrived together.

  • Minutes from the Microsoft, Boeing and Eastside employment corridor — Redmond, Bothell, Everett and Woodinville
  • Fully furnished from the first night — nothing to buy, nothing to move, nothing to sell again when the assignment ends
  • Billing to suit the arrangement — direct to employer, or self-pay and expense
  • Project teams placed together on the same estate rather than scattered across three properties
  • No first, last or security deposit, so there is nothing to unwind when the assignment closes
  • Open-ended by the month, because a relocation timeline is never the timeline anyone promised

Interns

The Grayson Premium, built to avoid burnout.

  • The Grayson Premium for the length of the placement
  • Ecotourism access across the Pacific Northwest
  • A rural setting that answers the crime, parking and break-in worries parents have about greater Seattle
  • Billing to suit — self-pay and expense, or direct to employer
Lower Livingroom to outdoor

In-Between Movers

Pack it in a pod and forget it.

  • Open-ended, pay-as-you-go billing — no end-date pressure, because closing timelines are never certain

ALE & Insurance Displacement

The family stays together.

We bill your carrier direct and work straight with your agent, so you are not fronting the cost of your own displacement and waiting to be paid back. Adjuster paperwork handled.

  • No pet boarding needed — they come with you
  • Multiple rooms available so nobody is split up
  • Direct billing to insurance, with adjuster paperwork handled

They bring their suitcase and let the stress fall off their shoulders.

Questions, answered

Are extended stays at The Grayson tax free?

Yes. Extended stays at The Grayson are tax free. The full term is collected upfront under our license user agreement, and your suite stays yours for the whole term.

How long can I stay — weekly, or 30, 60, 90 days or More?

Both. Nightly stays book online; weekly stays are by inquiry; monthly stays run 30-60-90 days or More. Send your dates and we quote the same day.

Is there travel nurse housing serving Everett, Kirkland and Snohomish County?

Yes. Travel nurses and contract clinicians on 13-week assignments stay furnished, tax free, with on-site laundry, Starlink Wi-Fi and a Travelers' Office — serving Providence Everett, the closest, EvergreenHealth Kirkland and EvergreenHealth Monroe, and the Monroe DOC.

What is the difference between The Grayson Core and The Grayson Premium?

Core is the everyday stay, fully equipped, with Saturday brunch. Premium adds daily meals at the hour you name, laundry washed, dried and folded, and housekeeping on your schedule — $300 a week solo, $500 couple, $700 family.

Can I bring my dog on an extended stay?

Yes. Pet rent is $150 per month per pet, and the Pet Concierge is available separately at $21 per day. The Olympic opens onto a fenced, off-leash yard.

Do you bill companies and insurance carriers directly for relocation or displacement stays?

Yes. For an insurance placement we collect the carrier, adjuster and claim number; for a company stay, the company name and billing contact. Relocating professionals often scout for 30 days, extend month to month, and send for family once the house closes.
